Black Queens defender Josephine Bonsu has revealed how a strong halftime message from the technical team inspired Ghana’s improved performance in their 4-0 win over Egypt in the final round of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.Ghana, who had won the first leg 3-0 in Ismailia, completed a 7-0 aggregate victory to secure their place at the tournament in Morocco.Reflecting on the second-leg performance at the Accra Sports Stadium, Bonsu admitted that the team struggled in the first half and could have been punished had luck not been on their side."We knew Egypt were going to come strong at us because we beat them 3-0," Bonsu said.
